Hello Parents!
My name is Andrew Raggio and I will be your child's Government and Economics teacher for this school year. I have created this blog to keep you, the parent, engaged and active in our classroom. Throughout the year, you will find photos and videos of projects and activities that we are conducting in class! To start off, I have provided a list of classroom rules that you can see listed below. I have found that these rules are necessary to create a learning environment and enrich our classroom. If you have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to contact me. Here is to a great year!
1) Homework is not optional, all assignments must be completed by the due date. For each day late, one letter grade (10%) will be subtracted from the overall grade
2) Blatant tardiness is not acceptable, however life happens. If a student is observed constantly showing late to class they will be confronted and disciplinary action will follow if the trend continues.
3) To create a conducive learning environment respect must be shown on all levels. No bullying, hazing, offensive language, violent behavior, or any other disrespectful behavior towards students or the teacher will be allowed
4) If a student is struggling with the content being covered in class, it is advised that they come in either before or after school for additional tutoring until the content is mastered.
